Richard Allen Humphrey

Richard Allen Humphrey, 64, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away on August 4, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on May 9, 1959 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Cletis Humphrey and Glenda Smith Sneed. Rick retired as a captain with the Jonesboro Fire Department serving for 27 years. He enjoyed reding, hunting, fishing, playing golf, and piddling on his tractor. Survivors include; one daughter: Demi Jean Humphrey of Charlotte, North Carolina; two brothers: Dan Humphrey 9Marsha) of Franklin, Arkansas and Gary Humphrey (Leah Ann) of Naples, Florida; one sister: Caroly Carter (Jeff); and a host of other friends and family. He is preceded in death by; his parents: Cletis Humphrey and Glenda Smith Sneed; and his grandparents: Jess and Otna Humphrey and Leslie and Mary Smith.

    I FIRST MET RICKY ON THE GOLF COURSE 7 YEARS AGO..IT WAS ONE OF HIS FAVORITE PLACES TO BE..BECAUSE BEING WITH HIS FRIENDS WAS SOMETHING HE LOVED TO DO.WE WENT ON MANY OUT OF TOWN GOLF TRIPS TOGETHER...NEVER A DULL MOMENT! I LOVED RICKY LIKE A BROTHER ..GLAD HE WAS IN MY LIFE...ME AND ALL OF HIS SAGE MEADOW GOLF BUDDIES WILL MISS HIM VERY MUCH. REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER.
