David William Pruett

David William Pruett, 83, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away at his home on October 15, 2023. He was born on January 19, 1940 in East St. Louis, Illinois to David Ralph Pruett and Zella Minton. David was a retired Navy Veteran of 27 years. He enjoyed playing on his computer, watching T.V., and spending time with his friends at the Bungalows. Survivors include; one sister: Georgia Uffelman of Murphysboro, Illinois; special friends: Inette Gunby of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Moesha Saddler of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Andrea Murphy of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Shelby King of Jonesboro, Arkansas; all of his special friends from the Bungalows; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his parents: David Ralph Pruett and Zella Minton; loving wife: Gretta Pruett; one brother; and one sister. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
