Derrick Hershall Blagg, 27, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away at his home on November 1, 2023. He was born on December 26, 1995 in Paragould, Arkansas to Tim and Vickie (Coffel) Blagg. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, reading, forging, and spending time with his family. Survivors include; his father: Tim Blagg (Channon) of Paragould, Arkansas; one stepsister: Tiger Lily Mosher of California; step grandmother: Cheryl Ann Douglas of Emporia, Kansas; one aunt: Ivy Wooldridge of Cardwell, Missouri; two uncles: Walter Blagg of Cherokee Village, Arkansas and Leon Coffel of Rector, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his mother: Vickie (Coffel) Blagg; maternal grandparents: Leon and Cathy Coffel; and paternal grandparents: Herbert and Connie Blagg. Pallbearers: Matt Manley, Hoyt Wooldridge, Gerard Conners, Jr., Gerard Conners III, Jerry Hodge, and Bill Robertson. A visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the 7th and Mueller Church of Christ in Paragould, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

    Derrick was a good man. He never spoke ill of anyone and he took care of his own business. I loved this man. He was my great nephew and I was very proud of him. This world was a better place with him in it. Fly High Derrick! We will meet again

    I was always proud of you. When you stayed with my brother after his surgery, I knew he was in good hands. I am going to miss your kind heart and smile.

    Derrick was a sweet young man. We worked together at Lowe’s. I learned about his drawings when I would gives him a ride home in the evenings. I thank God for the time I was able to spend with him. I pray for this family to have comfort and peace in knowing Derrick is with our Heavenly Father.
