Madge D. Pruitt

Madge D. Pruitt, 92, of Monette, Arkansas passed away at her home on October 30, 2023. She was born on August 20, 1931 in Gosnell, Arkansas to OA “Orb” and Flossie (Raspberry) Downing. Madge was known for her homemade Divinity, Peanut butter fudge and Chicken and Dressing. She enjoyed cooking, porch sitting with her friends, working in her flower garden, and making Christmas candy for everyone. Survivors include; two sons: Brian Kirk Pruitt of Monette, Arkansas and Barry Keith Pruitt of Monette, Arkansas; two daughters: Melissa Cochran of Navada and Joyce Moon of Kennett, Missouri; two sisters: Marilyn Ricard (Pete) of Blytheville, Arkansas and Pamela Taylor (Chris) of Tennessee; one brother: Ronald Kirk Downing of Gosnell, Arkansas; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many cousins; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents: OA “Orb” and Flossie (Raspberry) Downing; loving husband: Morris Pruitt; one daughter: Carol Ollison; and six siblings: Ben Downing, Adran Downing, Shirley Masterson, William Downing, Joe Downing, and Donna Coleman. The family has requested private arrangements under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
