Tommy Ray Murry, 77, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at St. Elizabeth’s Place, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on November 20, 1946 to Clarance William and Zella Mable Mott Murry. Tommy enjoyed playing pool and riding his motorcycle. He played pool semi-professional. He earned the nickname one armed bandit because he mostly played with just one arm. His fondest memory was being able to play with Minnesota Fats on the pool circuit. He was a security guard for several years until he retired. He is preceded in death by; his parents: Clarance and Zella Murry; his wife: Janie Murry; two brothers; one sister; and one niece. He is survived by; one sister: Sue Leggett; three nieces: Brenda, Teresa, and Samantha; one nephew: J.L. ; and a host of other family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
