Jimmy "Big Jim" Ferrell Davidson, Sr.

Jimmy "Big Jim" Ferrell Davidson, Sr., 77, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on July 14, 2024. He was born on September 15, 1946 in Brookland, Arkansas to William E. and Francis (Carter) Davidson. Jimmy was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed riding around in his new truck, collecting knives, and spending time with his family. His dog Aspen meant the world to him. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed it every day. Survivors include; six children: Sherry Coy of Dixie, Arkansas, Victor Hooker of Dixie, Arkansas, Paul Hooker (Pam) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Paula Cline of Brookland, Arkansas, Jimmy Davidson, Jr. (Tina) of Brookland, Arkansas, Steve Davidson (Tonya) of Paragould, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother: Joe Davidson of Tennessee; one sister: Susie Dorton of Illinois; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his parents; loving wife of 50 years: Sue Davidson; and one brother: Pete Davidson. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Pine log Cemetery in Brookland, Arkansas with Jimmy Davidson, Jr. officiating.
