Betty Jo Tabor

Mrs. Betty Jo Tabor, 74, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at NEA Hospital. Mrs. Tabor was born on April 16, 1941 in Colinwood, Tennessee to the late Willie and Florence Haddock Long. Mrs. Tabor was of the Baptist faith, a Jonesboro area resident, and enjoyed relaxing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.Survivors include; her husband of 51 years: Lawrence Tabor, Jr. of the home; one son: William Tabor (Tina) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter: Lora Ashford (Ross) of Paragould, Arkansas; three brothers: Gene Long of Sikeston, Missouri, David Long of Parma, Missouri, and Thomas Long of Malden, Missouri; two sisters: Nadine Jones of Waynesboro, Tennessee and Brenda Warren of Oberlin, Ohio; four grandchildren: Bethany Tabor, Zachary Tabor, Canon Ashford, and Allie Ashford.Mrs. Tabor was preceded in death by; her parents: three brothers: Stanley, Ed, and an infant Long; three sisters: Brenda Turner, Shirley Edmond, and Ann Cook.The family will have private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
