Garey Wayne Lang

Garey Wayne Lang, 70, of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away on January 26, 2016 at Great River Medical Center. Mr. Lang was born on September 20, 1945 in Limestone County, Alabama to the late John Clinton and Ida Mae Johnson Lang. Mr. Lang enjoyed building Hot Rods and racing them, rebuilding cars, going FAST, watching Dallas Cowboys and Alabama Crimson Tide football, and spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include; his wife: Frances Lang of the home; one son: Paul Lang of Santa Maria, California; three daughters: Alisha Patrick and finance David Johnson of Rector, Arkansas, Cindy Daniels and husband David of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Carla Purdy and husband Chris of Cabot, Arkansas; grandchildren: Justin Davis, Michael Davis, Nathan Davis, Brittany Daniels, Whitney Daniels, Christopher Purdy, Nicholas Purdy, Destiny Purdy; one great-grandchild: Braxton Davis; and a host of other family and friends.Mr. Lang was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Frank Lang.The family request private services and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
