Nancy Walton

Nancy Jane Walton, age 82 of Arbyrd, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas. Born March 4, 1933 in Caruthersville, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Laura James Walton and had been a long-time area resident. Miss. Walton was a member of the Arbyrd Church of Christ and enjoyed reading her Bible and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sisters: Edith Boulton and Juanita Brower both of Caruthersville, Missouri; a special man for many years: Floyd Reeves of Leachville, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. Miss. Walton was preceded in death by her father: Thomas Walton; her mother: Laura Dycus; five brothers: Grady, J.Z., James Austin, Jesse and Robert Walton; one sister: Marguerite Walton. The family will receive visitors Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Arbyrd Church of Christ. Graveside services will reconvene after the visitation at the Little Prairie Cemetery in Caruthersville, Missouri with Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Landon Pruiett, Jon Pruiett, Kevin Boulton, Thomas Buchanan Scot Roberts, Scotty Roberts and Denny Haddock. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made to the Children’s Home in Paragould, Arkansas or the Central Church of Christ in Caruthersville, Missouri.
