Dallas Richey

Mr. Dallas Lee Richey, 77 of Trumann, Arkansas passed away at his home Monday, January 11, 2016. He was born January 15, 1938 to the late Woodrow Arthur and Maggie Wade Richey in Lake City, Arkansas. Mr. Richey was a member of the Refuge General Baptist Church in Lake City, Arkansas and he enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, and watching wrestling and Cardinal ballgames and loved going to auctions. Mr. Richey retired from FMC with seventeen and one half years and from Trumann Housing Authority in 2000 with six and one half years. He also worked at Singer in Trumann, Arkansas for seventeen years. Mr. Richey is survived by his wife: Rosa Lee Richey of the home; three daughters: Donna (Mike) O’Neal of Lake City, Arkansas; Mylinda (Jody) Miller of Marked Tree, Arkansas; and Caslie Cansler of Harrisburg, Arkansas, one son: Lynn (Cheryl) Richey of Trumann, Arkansas. Two sisters: Louetta Carner of Lake City, Arkansas and Jeanetta Richey of Trumann, Arkansas; five brothers: Bobby Richey and Clifton Richey both of Trumann, Arkansas; Jerry (Jackie) Richey of Blytheville, Arkansas; Larry (Dorothy) Richey of Trumann, Arkansas; Ronnie (Sharon) Richey of Bay, Arkansas; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.Mr. Richey was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Refuge General Baptist Church in Lake City, Arkansas. Visitation will be Saturday at 11:00 until time for service. Bro. Shane West and Bro. Ty Koones and speaker Joseph Dodd will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Log Cemetery, Brookland, Arkansas. Pallbearers: Joseph Dodd, Clarence Easter, Dallas Richey, Ryan Miller, Eric Norman, Craig Hobbs. Honorary pallbearers: Jake Gilley, Robbie Deason, Mike Sullivan, Chevy Sullivan, and the deacons of Refuge General Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be under the direction of Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas.
