Robert Jones

Robert Stuart Jones, 74 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away January 17, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Born April 1, 1942 in Pasadena, California he was the son of the late Edward and Jean Wolfe Jones. Memorial services will be announced at a later time under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.

    We've lost a talented, caring, country-loving man man when Robert S. Jones. He was a patriot, who loved his country. He was a veteran proud of his service in the atomic division of the Army - we used to have interesting conversations about those days and joked about him glowing in the dark. He was an inventor, a publisher, a writer, a great story teller. I'll miss our late night chats more than anything. He was always larger than life to me, I could take any problem to him and he'd help find a solution. Without Robert, my last two books wouldn't have seen the light of day.
