George Washington Gray, Jr.

George Washington Gray, Jr., 77, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 14, 2018 at his home. He was born on November 12, 1940 in Carson Lake, Arkansas to the late George Washington and Nettie Moss Gray. He enjoyed fishing, shooting his gun, quail hunting, and spending time with his family and he loved his grandchildren very much.Survivors include; his wife of thirty-five years: Judy Gray of the home; three sons: George Gray of Osceola, Arkansas, Kevin Turner (Maria) of Caraway, Arkansas, and Phillip Gray (Tera) of Caraway, Arkansas; two daughters: Stephony Trantham of Mt. View, Arkansas and Victoria Letson of Caraway, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; one daughter: Amanda Gray; one brother: Raymond Gray; three sisters: Joann Kotch, Jean Volkovitch, and Barbara Ford; one grandchild: John Alexander Huguel; and one great-grandchild: James Hayes.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Community of Christ Church in Caraway with Bro. Gary Earnhart officiating. Interment will follow at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers: George Gray, Steve Gray, Randy Ford, Ricky Woodall, John Coggins, and Blake Letson.
