Darryl Norris White

Darryl Norris White, 65 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born February 16,1953 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Eldon and Martha Steffe White. He taught instrumental music in the Paragould School system, owned Darryl’s Shootin’ Irons Gun Store, was a diesel mechanic for Jones Trucking Company, enjoyed music, loved his animals, and loved his boys. Survivors include; his wife: Darlene Bryant of the home; two sons: Brandon Bryant (Miranda) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Jeremie Bryant of Jonesboro, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Natalya Bryant, Xaden Pieri, and Denton Schultz; one sister: Pattie White of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother: Steve White of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rock Hill Baptist Church, 151 CR 777, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Brother Ray Broadaway and Gary Hubbell officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society or the Jonesboro Animal Shelter in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
