Billy Wayne Holcomb

Billy Wayne Holcomb, 73 of Paragould, Arkansas departed this life on June 14, 2018 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1945 in Lunsford, Arkansas to Eugene and Dovie Farmer Holcomb. Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He made his living as a welder, truck driver and as one of the co-owners of Brothers Construction with his brother Byron Halcomb. He lived in Burton, Michigan until he moved back to Arkansas in 1992. Bill married Paula “Sherry” Jackson on July 5, 2002. He enjoyed his horses as well as taking care of them, never met a stranger, always brightened everyone’s day, touching many lives. He was a loving husband, father, brother and will be missed by many family, friends and clients.He is survived by his wife Sherry of the home; two sons: Denny Dear (Robin) of Flint, Michigan, Jason Holcomb (Danielle) of Burton, Michigan; one daughter: Cindy Dennison (Robert) of St Clair Shores, Michigan; three grandsons, one granddaughter, one great granddaughter, several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren; three brothers: Curtis Holcomb (Glenda) of Burton, Michigan, Byron Halcomb (Cindy) of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Gary Holcomb (Fay) of Marmaduke, Arkansas; one sister: Patricia Wellman (Tom) of Marmaduke, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; his infant twin brother and sister: Aubrey and Audrey; three sisters: Wanda Liles, Doretha Langston, Betty Easley; two brothers: Leland Halcomb, W.D. Halcomb.Services will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at New Life Family Church, 39 CR 240, Knobel, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Holcomb officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors Friday evening at the church from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Please send all flowers to the church.
