Steve Cook

Steve C Cook, 68, of Manila, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on January 9, 1950 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Chester and Ruth McGowan Cook. He was a member of the Nettleton Church of Christ, retired from Arkansas State Police after 27 years, was a very loving man, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.Survivors include; loving caregiver and companion: Lee Ann Cook Austin (Tony) of the home; three daughters: Laura Ruth Cook Robertson (Doug) of Newbern, Tennessee, Ashlyn Faith Cook of the home, and Ali Towles of the home; two sisters: Genoma Gallion and Betty Bowden both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one grandson: Luke Robertson of Newbern, Tennessee; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; two brothers: Chester Dunkerson, Jr. and James Leslie Cook; and two sisters: Roberta Cook and Aileen Bell.Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Nettleton Church of Christ with Jimmy Young officiating. Interment will follow at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Thursday night at the church from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Jim Creecy, Dr. Reggie Cullom, Chuck Stotts, Dewayne Malone, Jerry Brogdon, and Stan McMillin.
