James Wilson Mason

James Wilson Mason, 71, of Wynne, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his home. He was born on November 13, 1946 in Wynne, Arkansas to the late Archie Eugene and Junnie Inez Aston Mason. He was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching John Wayne movies, and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Survivors include; his wife of 52 years: Shirley Mason of the home; two sons: James Matthew Mason of the home and Jeremy Mark Mason (Christy) of Cherry Valley, Arkansas; two daughters: Donna Kay Sharp of Harrisburg and Katheryn Louise Kellum (William) of Wynne, Arkansas; two brothers: Oscar Mason of Wynne, Arkansas and Larry Mason (Suzie) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two sisters: Patricia Crossen (Freddy) of Searcy, Arkansas and Margaret Baker of Crystal River, Florida; seven grandchildren: Billy (Courtney), Shawn, Brittany, Shay, Peyton, Jessika, and Joseph eight great-grandchildren: Ally, Lilly, Liam, Landon, Remington, Raliegh, J.J., and Mason; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; two sisters: Carolyn Burries and Sudie Walker; one grandchild: Corey Kellum; and one great-grandchild: Dalton.Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Farm Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg, Arkansas with Chaplain Kirk Owens officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
