Ancle Dale Graham

Ancle Dale Graham, 82, of Bono, Arkansas, died June 9, 2018, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. He was born January 2, 1936, in Walnut Ridge, to Robert F. Graham and Virginia Faye (Mathews) Graham. He joined the Arkansas National Guard in 1954 and served until his honorable discharge in 1963 as a Staff Sergeant. He graduated from Arkansas State University in 1967. From 1967 until his retirement in 1994, he worked for IBM in the Federal Systems Division. While with IBM he worked on the Saturn / Apollo program and received numerous awards for his contribution to the United States Space Program.Throughout his career and many relocations, he always wanted to return to Arkansas. His last five years were spent in Bono where he was active as a member of the Bono Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Faye Graham; his brothers Bedford L. Graham, Bobby E. Graham, Billy J. Graham, and his twin Gale Graham; and two grandchildren Kaycee Ellis and Colby Andris.Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Oleta Sue Graham, whom he married in Walnut Ridge on August 26, 1961; a brother, Glendon R. Graham, of Walnut Ridge; a son, Bobby Lee Graham and wife Cindy of Sentinel, Oklahoma; a daughter, Rebecca Graham Trogner and husband George of Winchester, Virginia; four grandchildren: Cori Musick and husband Colt of Sentinel, OK; Caleb Graham and wife Rachel of Sentinel, OK; Lindsay Graham of Lenoir City, TN; and Trevor Trogner of Winchester, VA; and ten great-grandchildren: Graycee, Brenley, Jesse Mae, Finlee, Kash, Quincee, Caleb, Charlee, Remington, and Graham.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, June 14, at the Bono Church of Christ.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1138 E. Matthews Avenue, Jonesboro, AR 72401
