Jimmy Nichols

Mr. Jimmy E. Nichols, 72, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died on Sunday, March 10, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Mr. Nichols was born on June 20, 1941 in Bolivar, Mississippi to the late R.L. and Iva Lee Nichols. Mr. Nichols was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his wife: Sharon Nichols of the home; two sons: Kevin and Jeremy Nichols; one daughter: Melanie Hales; eight grandchildren: Kara and Geneva Nichols, Amanda Hammon, Zack Oakes, Abby, Andy, Ava, and Audrey Nichols; three great grandchildren: Elijah, Anna, and Isaiah Hammon; three brothers Landa, Jerry, and Ronnie Nichols; four sisters: Sarah Roedel, Donna McClung, Debbie Taylor, and Tonya Monroe; special family friends: the Henderson family and David, The Broadway family and Jaelyn; Caregivers: Jean Ottoson and Michelle Smith. Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Max Nichols. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 610 Powell Drive, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. Gary Henderson officiating.
