Clara Lee Hand

Mrs. Clara Lee Hand, 93, of Marked Tree, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernard's hospital in Jonesboro, Arkanas Sunday, March 22, 2015Mrs. Hand was born June 18, 1921 to Alvie and Mae Dover Wilson in Florence, Alabama.Mrs. Hand was a member of the Central Baptist church in Marked Tree, enjoyed reading her Bible and attending church, loved to read books of all kinds, and loved spending time with her family.Survivors include: one son: David Hand of Marked Tree, Arkansas; two grandsons: Brian Hand and Scott Hand; and two great grandchildren.Two sisters: Flora Churchwell of Tyronza, Arkansas and Joyce Moser and husband Alan, of Memphis, Tennessee; Four brothers: Elmore Wilson of Memphis, Tennessee, Douglas Wilson and wife Mavis of Mt. View, Arkansas, Kenneth Wilson and wife Gladys of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Johnny Wilson and wife Jean of West Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Hand also leaves a host of other family and friends.Mrs. Hand was preceded in death by her husband, James Hand, her parents, and one brother: Thomas Wilson.Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 12:00 noon at The Central Baptist church in Marked Tree, Arkansas with Rev. John Smith.Interment will follow at Tyronza Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday from 10:00am until service time.
