Bobby Gene Midgett

Bobby Gene Midgett, age 54 of Portia, Arkansas, passed away March 7, 2016 at his home. Born March 3, 1962 in Pocahontas, Arkansas he was the son of Delmer Gene and Barbara Lindley Midgett and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Midgett enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding four wheelers. He is survived by his mother: Barbara Midgett of Hardy, Arkansas; his wife: Laurie Midgett of the home; three sons: Christopher Taft of Clover Bend, Arkansas, James Maupin of Arrington, Tennessee and Jesse Maupin and wife Jennifer of Paragould, Arkansas; one brother: Edward Midgett of Clover Bend, Arkansas; one sister: Jeannie Catron of Hardy, Arkansas. Mr. Midgett also leaves ten grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Delmer Midgett. The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made toward the cost of the services.
