Wayne "Ben" Lawrence

Wayne Cleo “Ben” Lawrence, 73, of Piggott, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 10, 1943 in Senath, Missouri to the late Benjamin “Pete” and Ruth Coleman Lawrence. He was a very spiritual man, was devoted in love to his wife of 56 years, and will be greatly missed by his wife, children, and family.Survivors include; his wife: Stella Lawrence of the home; three sons: Jimmy Lawrence of Alabama, Ricky Lawrence of Campbell, Missouri, and Darrell Lawrence of St. Francis, Arkansas; one daughter: Laura Lawrence of Holcomb, Missouri; two brothers: Bud Love of Paragould, Arkansas and Dewey Lawrence of New Madrid, Missouri; three sisters: Cindy Simmons of Rogers, Arkansas, Corena King of Paragould, Arkansas, and Lorena Skelton of Paragould, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Kimberly Lawrence of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Ashli Edwards of Kennett, Missouri, Amanda Corter of Piggott, Arkansas, and Andrea Laxton of Piggott; five great-grandchildren: Cody Laxton, Parker Corter, Kane Stevens, Alasia Jones, and Alando Edwards, Jr.; eight step-grandchildren: Brandon Johnson, Hope Johnson, Allen Mansfield, Kayla Mansfield, Camron Laxton, Mika Laxton, Margaret Bearden, and Mary Kay Linam; and a host of other family and friends.He was preceded in death by; his parents; one sister: Viola Luttrull; two brothers: Newt Lawrence and Benjamin Lawrence, Jr.Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cross Way Church, Kennett, Missouri with Bro. David King officiating. Interment will follow at the New Hope Cemetery, Pollard, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Earl Luttrull, Allen Collins, Carl Coleman, Cody Laxton, Timmy Lawrence, and Johnny Coleman.
