Ronnie Dean Montgomery

Mr. Ronnie Dean Montgomery, Sr., age 57 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at his home. Born July 22, 1959 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Harvey and Carolita Kirby Montgomery and was a longtime area resident. Mr. Montgomery was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers. Mr. Montgomery also enjoyed going to church every Sunday, wood-working, fixing up things, watching westerns and listening to country music. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family.He is survived by two sons: Ronnie Dean Montgomery, Jr. and wife Libby of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas and Stephen Ryan Montgomery and wife Hailey of Paragould, Arkansas; four daughters: Candice Jackson and husband Kevin of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Heather Diles and husband Clinton of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Hannah Raeshell Montgomery of Bono, Arkansas and Kelsee Dezerai Montgomery of Bono, Arkansas; four brothers: Kenneth Montgomery, Sam Montgomery, Bill Montgomery and James Montgomery; one sister: Shelia Brogdon. Mr. Montgomery also leaves eight grandchildren: Kaitlyn Alexis Jackson, Colleen Abigail Jackson, Harley Cheyenne Montgomery, Chandler Alan Diles, Conner Bryce Diles, Destiny Faith Diles, Kasen Eli James Boness and Liam Joel Michael Boness. He also leaves a host of other family and friends.Graveside funeral services will be Monday, March 6, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Bishops Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Mr. Michael Meredith officiating. Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Dean Montgomery, Jr., Stephen Ryan Montgomery, Clinton Diles, Chandler Diles, Brad Montgomery and Blake Montgomery.
