Viola M. Starnes

Ms. Viola Mae Starnes, 81 of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Stone County Medical Center. Ms. Starnes was born on April 21, 1931 in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Charles and Annie Moody. She was a member of the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Mountain View. Survivors include; four sons: Roger Starnes and wife Nina of Pleasant Grove, Arkansas, Danny Starnes of Mountain View, Arkansas, Randy Starnes Mountain View, Arkansas, and Bryan Starnes Mountain View, Arkansas; one brother Hershel Moody of Michigan; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and a host of other family and friends. Ms. Starnes was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Alvin Starnes; one daughter: Joy Starnes; one son: Elvis Starnes, one grandson: Shannon Starnes; four brothers: Garland Moody, Billy Moody, Ernest Moody and Robert Moody; three sisters: Agnes Moody Harris, Sue Knight, and Alva Wilson. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Highway 5, Mountain View, Arkansas with Sister Olivee Waters officiating. Interment will follow at Lighthouse Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 10:00 am until service time.
