Kenneth Davis

Kenneth “KD” Ray Davis, age 63 of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born March 5, 1951 in Hoxie, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Orville and Glenda Lee Smith Davis. Kenny enjoyed motorcycle riding, playing music on his guitar, watching the cardinals and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by one son: Kenny and wife Dana of Hoxie, Arkansas; one daughter: Kassie Davis of Jonesboro; four sisters: Pat Housdan and husband Eugene of Russellville, Lou Romine and husband Joe of Hoxie, Judy Rice and husband Sonny of Pocahontas and Debbie Schaechtel and husband Butch of Pocahontas; three brothers: Wendell Davis and wife Ada of Springfield, Tennessee, Eddie Davis and wife Linda of Walnut Ridge, and Randy Davis of Walnut Ridge; four grandchildren: Brandon Davis, Emily Davis, Lily Davis and Forrest Davis; one great-grandson: Bryson Davis. Mr. Davis also leaves several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and sister-in-law: Jerry Dale and Linda Jo Davis. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 2:00 until 4:00 at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge with Rev. Philip Housdan officiating.
