Delbert Richie

Mr. Delbert Richie, age 73 of Trumann, Arkansas, passed away October 5, 2014 at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born May 19, 1941 in Lepanto, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richie and attended the Church of God Church in Trumann. Mr. Richie enjoyed yard-work, watching westerns and napping. He is survived by his wife of 34 years: Marie Busby Hillard Richie of the home; one son: Thomas Hillard and wife Kelly of Trumann; one daughter: Amy Webb and husband Danny of Trumann; two brothers: Arden Richie and Joe Richie both of Bay, Arkansas; two sisters: Martha Richie of Paragould, Arkansas and Aline Richie of Washington; six grandchildren: Shanda Henry, Brandon Hillard, Miranda Hillard, Hannah Wood, Heather Wood and Hailey Wood; three great-grandchildren: Hayden Hillard, Chayton Webb and Jaxson Webb. Mr. Richie also leaves several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother Elbert Richie and brother Edward Richie; two sisters Jessie Pearl Richie and Laverne Richie. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 10:00am at the Church of God, 100 Birch Street in Trumann, Arkansas with Bro. Michael Peters officiating. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 at the church. Pallbearers will be: Thomas Hillard, Brandon Hillard, Phillip Goodwin, Ricky Goodwin, Josh Henry and Les Henry. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Meredith ad Timothy Biggers.
