Gerald Mason

Mr. Gerald Mason, age 55 of Caraway, Arkansas, passed away Monday, October 12, 2015 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born March 2, 1960 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Lester and Sarah Elizabeth Jackson Mason. Mr. Mason enjoyed being outside, watching wrestling and karaoke. He is survived by two daughters: Gloria Thomason and husband Jason of Gosnell, Arkansas and April Cissell and Ricky of Joiner, Arkansas; four sisters: Jo Ann Ward of Manila, Arkansas, June Ward of Manila, Arkansas, Dora Merritt of Louisiana and Rosie Deharven of Paragould, Arkansas; six grandchildren; special friends: Rebecca Boatman and Bobbie Mason and a brother at heart Tommy Wilbanks, Jr. Mr. Mason also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Jonathan Mason; three brothers: Woody Mason, Roy Lee Mason and Michael Mason; one sister: Linda Joyce Mason. Graveside services will be Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 1:00pm at the Caraway Cemetery, Caraway, Arkansas with Bro Tommy Wilbanks, Sr. officiating.
