Janette Layne

Mrs. Janette Layne, 82, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015. Mrs. Layne was born on September 2, 1933 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to the late John and Viola Swan. Mrs. Layne was a member of the Stanford Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include; two sons: Charles Layne of Jonesboro, Arkansas and William “Willy” Layne of the home; three daughters: Dorothy Allison and husband John, Phyliss West and husband Joe, and Kathy Layne all of Paragould, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Layne was preceded in death by; her parents; her husband: William “Bill” Layne; one son: Robert “Bobby” Layne. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 10:00 am at Keller’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Walnut Street Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Arkansas from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Pallbearers: Shane Jackson, Tommy Moore, Adam Layne, Chris Layne, Billy Layne, and Daniel Layne. Honorary pallbearers: Kevin Gomer, Kelly Henry, Grayson Simpson, and Shannon Reeves.
