Jerry Bernard Berry, Sr.

Jerry Bernard Berry, Sr., 76, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born on January 22, 1940 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late William Wesley and Alta Vaughn Berry. He was of the Baptist Faith, a Mason since 1973, became a 32 degree Mason and Scottish Rites in 1983, was the secretary for the Masonic Lodge and the Lions Club in Caraway since 1980, a member of the Caraway Ambulance Service board, worked the local election poles since 1980 and was a Notary Public.Survivors include; one son: Jerry Berry and wife Stephanie of Caraway, Arkansas; one daughter: Sandra McDaniel Adcock and husband Roger of Caraway, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Jordan Adcock and wife Malorie of Caraway, Arkansas, Haley Puckett and husband Kolton of Caraway, Arkansas, Jerabeth Berry of Bono, Arkansas; Brooklyn and Landon Berry both of Caraway, Arkansas; one great-grandchild: Emsley Puckett of Caraway, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife: Joyce Berry; three brothers: Rube Berry, Bruce Berry, and J.W. Berry; three sisters: Elizabeth Wilson, Betty Vaden, and Janette Berry. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, Caraway, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Monday, October 24 at the church from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Pallbearers: Roger Williams, Barry Riley, Bo James, Glen Boone, Asa Boatman, and Paul Martin. Honorary pallbearers: Members of Caraway Ambulance Service and the Masonic Lodge
