Thomas E. Atkins

Thomas E. Atkins, 72, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on February 12, 1944 in Kennesaw, Georgia to the late Hubert and Martha Jane Bean Atkins. He was retired from Lockheed Aircraft and a Vietnam Era US Army Veteran.Survivors include; his wife: Regina Atkins of the home; two children: Tom Atkins of Kennesaw, Georgia and Joan Croft of Talking Rock, Georgia; one brother: Don Atkins of Midway, Georgia; one sister-in-law: Mary Ellen Atkins of Conyers, Georgia; extraordinary friends: Ken Reeves, Kenny Leonard, and Bob and Elaine Boyd; three grandchildren; nine nephews: Jim, Benny, Huey, Danny, Robbie, Terry, John, Gary, and Ricky Atkins; four nieces: Gay Pritchett, Joy Peppers, Patricia Atkins, and Denise Atkins; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents; and five brothers: Hubert Atkins, Jr., William “Bill” Atkins, Pat Atkins, Harry Atkins, and James Atkins.A special thanks to Joe and Gale Phillips for everything they have done.A memorial service will be held at a later date.
