James Eugene Tidwell

James Eugene Tidwell “Jimbo”, 59, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on October 28, 2017 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on December 29, 1957 in West Plains, Missouri to Raymond and Imogene Crocker-Tidwell. He was a cosmetologist, and was very active in Lindenwood Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Memphis.Survivors include; his mother: Imogene Baxter; stepfather: Mike Baxter; stepmother: Hester Tidwell; three brothers: Kenneth Tidwell of Florida; Steve Tidwell of Judsonia, Arkansas, and Charlie Wilson of Dover, Florida; three sisters: Shirley Long and husband William of Trumann, Arkansas, Brenda Winters of Trumann, Arkansas; and Taryn Sicks of Florida; lots of nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by; his father: Raymond Tidwell; two brothers: Danny Joe Tidwell and Ricky Lynn Wilson; grandparents: Albert and Jenny Crocker and Clyde and Ebbile Tidwell. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Trumann, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Forbus officiating. The family request private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
